Blackberry Smoke Columbia Concert reviews
Oh yeah!!!
Wow! Blackberry Smoke, The Allman Betts Band & The Wild Feathers put on an awesome show at The Ascend Amphitheater Friday night! I knew it would be good but this show proved to be way higher than my expectations and I even imagined it could be! All of these guys and gals are so super talented, gifted and worked hard to put on a fantastic show. I also loved all Blackberry Smoke's video clips, especially the ones of the Chattahoochee, playing behind them as they jammed. Great finale with Jimmy Hall playing 'Keep on Smilin' from Wet Willie. Excellent show, many thanks to all y'all! We really needed that shot of southern spirit and appreciate how y'all worked that show! Fantastic fun! Thank you! Thank you! I love Blackberry Smoke's song, 'You Hear Georgia' and when they played Skynrd's 'Tuesday's Gone' and also paid tribute to Tom Petty with one of his songs. I also loved that The Allman Betts Band showed respect by playing some of their dad's greatest songs ever along with their own tunes!!! I didn't realize Barry Oakley Jr. was also in the band playing bass until the next day when I googled more about the band. Nice job every one! Awesome show!!! I think I may have already said thanks but thanks again! Y'all made me and all us smile a lot!
